Abbeville man killed while walking in road

An Abbeville man walking in the road about 2:30 a.m. Monday was struck and killed by a vehicle.
State Police said Anthony Baldridge, 28, was walking with his brother on La. 699 south of Maurice when hit by vehicle from the rear.
The vehicle was driven by Ryan Simon, 32, of Maurice.
The police are continuing their investigation.
