CROWLEY - Funeral services for Brandon “BT” Thomas, 29, who died Monday, January 25, 2010 will be held Saturday, Januray 30, 2010 at New Vision Ministries. Pastor Al (Jeanelle) Malbrough and Bishop Joseph (Earlean) Damon will officiate the service. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday until the time of service.
Brandon is survived by his mother Brenda (Armistia) Thomas of Church Point; his father Ronald (Katherine) Jenkins of Opelousas and Samuel Drake Jr. of Crowley; his fiance Niktockie Smith; four brothers, Jermaine (Monique) Thomas of Crowley, Samual Drake III of Crowley, Ronald (Claudia) Jenkins of Houston, Texas, and Darrell Jackson of Opelousas; nine sisters, Tynisa (Earl) Hayes of Lafayette, Rachel (Eddie Joe) Thomas of Crowley, Shelia (Donovan) Damon of Crowley, Cecily (Kenon) Drake of Crowley, Cynthia Richard of Crowley, Sheronda Jackson of Opelousas, and Ashley Jenkins of Opelousas, Denise (Perry) Comeaux of Opelousas, and Tiffany Jackson of Opelousas; four aunts, Deanna (Eli) Andrus of Crowley, Mary (Adams) Wheeler of Crowley, Della Solomom of Crowley, and Rosa (Allen) Batiste of Crowley; five uncles, Anthony Thomas of Lafayette, Lloyd (Yvonne) Thomas of Crowley, Jerome (Debbie) Thomas of Crowley, Terry (Linda) Thomas of Crowley, and Michael (Dorthy) Thomas of Crowley; friends Steven, Stephanie, Dee-Dee, Coco, Tabise, Karl, Gib, Murphy Reed and many, many more.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Esther Thomas, Asie Thomas, Semionia Cenette, and Risman and Josie Jenkins; a niece, Lennise MyAngel Drake, and three aunts Amy Oradell Jenkins, Patricia Jenkins, and Madeline Marie Thomas.
