Casting for “Moonlight and Magnolias” Comedy

There’s no business like show business, and Hollywood is abuzz in 1939. Famed producer, David O. Selznick has shut down production of his new epic, fires the director, and demands a rewrite of the script for one of the most beloved films of all times, “Gone with the Wind”.
This is the storyline of the comedy, “Moonlight and Magnolias”, the third show for the Eunice Players’ Theatre 40th season. The director, Debi L. Crawford, is looking to cast one male role to complete the 3 men and 1 woman show. She is looking for a male, preferably age 25 years or older, to play the role of Ben Hecht, the script doctor of screenwriters. The director wants to stress that no experience is necessary.
The comedy, “Moonlight and Magnolias” is scheduled to open in early November as the third show of the Eunice Players’ Theatre 40th season.
