Gun control

Milo A. Nickel Sr.

The second amendment will be under attack by the liberal democrats again. The right to bear and keep arms was put into the constitution by the founding fathers because in their wisdom they knew, from history, that citizens without arms could not protect themselves, their families, their property or their country.
Thus far the Supreme Court has protected our rights but now that the Court is facing liberal appointees due to the Democratic control of the Presidency, the Senate and the House of Representatives, it’s only a matter to time before they make an all out effort to establish gun control.
The National Rifle Association and its members will once again be called upon to protect our rights under the constitution but the odds of winning are much greater now. In addition to the liberals in government, the national news media will be joining forces and leading the charge.
To put into perspective the danger of gun control, consider the past results in countries where prohibiting gun ownership has resulted in dictatorships whose first actions was to disarm their citizens.

A LITTLE GUN HISTORY

During WWII the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED! “I would never invade the United States. There would be a gun behind every blade of grass.”

Switzerland issues a gun to every household and provides training. Switzerland has the lowest gun related crime rate of any civilized county in the world.
It’s a no brainer. Our government should not waste millions of our tax dollars in an effort to make all law abiding citizens an easy target. But they will try. You can book it.
Only an informed and aroused citizenry can stop them.

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.

That’s my story and I am sticking to it.
