CROWLEY – Woodmen of the World, Lodge 6, conducted a special ceremony to remember the victims and heroes of September 11, 2001.
The ceremony, called In Honor and Remembrance, is a salute to America’s heroes, also included a salute to hometown heroes, whose bravery and dedication help safeguard our community every day. The ceremony was held at the Woodmen of the World Hall on Eastern Avenue.
This is the second year that Lodge 6 has sponsored the project. After a presentation of flags to the Crowley Fire and Police Departments, Lee John served as the master of ceremonies.
