Taking part in a recent ceremony called In Honor and Remembrance, Woodmen of the World Lodge 6 during which members of the Crowley Fire and Police Departments, as well as veterans were honored were, from left, Lee John, master of ceremonies; Ricky Spell, fire captain; Bryan Quibodeaux, fire department driver; Derrick Laughlin, firefighter; K.P. CROWLEY – Woodmen of the World, Lodge 6, conducted a special ceremony to remember the victims and heroes of September 11, 2001.
The ceremony, called In Honor and Remembrance, is a salute to America’s heroes, also included a salute to hometown heroes, whose bravery and dedication help safeguard our community every day. The ceremony was held at the Woodmen of the World Hall on Eastern Avenue.
This is the second year that Lodge 6 has sponsored the project. After a presentation of flags to the Crowley Fire and Police Departments, Lee John served as the master of ceremonies.
