Ulysse Gonsoulin, Jr., Iberia cane grower

NEW IBERIA -- Services will be Tuesday for Ulysse A. Gonsoulin, Jr., life-long sugar cane grower and business owner in New Iberia. He died Saturday at age 89.
Gonsoulin was past president of the Iberia Sugar Co-Op, past president of the Iberia Farm Bureau and was on the board of the American Sugar Cane League for a number of years.
Survivors include his wife Elise and five children.
Arrangements are under direction of Evangeline Funeral Home.
