Parkview edges Notre Dame

BATON ROUGE – For six innings, Notre Dame pitcher Austin Robichaux had two-time defending Class AAA champion Parkview Baptist right where he wanted them - on their heels.
The returning All-State pitcher had limited the Eagles to just one run (unearned) and one hit heading into the final frame and things couldn’t have looked better for he and the Pios.
Unfortunately, the Eagles got their timing down in their final turn at bat.

LDWF Enforcement Division rescues Iota hunter

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Division agents found and rescued a lost hunter experiencing hypothermia along the east side of Bayou Des Cannes near Iota in Acadia Parish on the evening of March 13.

Pios fall to Parkview

BATON ROUGE – Parkview Baptist plated one run on two hits in the bottom of the seventh inning to claim a 2-1 victory over visiting Notre Dame Tuesday evening.
Class 3A's top-ranked Pios fell to 12-3 on the season with the loss while the No. 2 Eagles improved to 13-2.
