Oilers top Pios in Junior American Legion contest

CROWLEY – The Eunice Oilers broke open a close game in the final two innings, scoring nine runs in the fifth and six to cruise to an 11-1 Junior American Legion victory over the Notre Dame Pioneers at Miller Stadium Wednesday.

BATON ROUGE – Another record-setting and historical season in LSU athletics was capped on Monday when the school recorded its second straight top 10 finish in the Learfield Sports Director’s Cup with a No. 9 showing among all Division I institutions.
State Line Challenge calling contests
