CROWLEY - Lillie Maude Butler-Orebo Hill was called home to receive her crown on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Community Hospital Anderson.
Lillie was born to the late James Butler and Roberta Goodwill Butler on Janurary 26, 1930 in Crowley.
She attended and graduated from Crowley Industrial High School in 1947.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Crowley for Johnny Bernard Hunter, 62, who died Wednesday March 10 at Saint Rose Dominican Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Viewing will be held from 8 a.m. until the time of service.

RAYNE - Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Leo Church in Roberts Cove for Helen “Fern” Richard, 91 who passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the Rayne Guest Home. Officiating Ms. Fern’s Services will be Fr. Bordelon.

Crowley - Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2010 at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Bruce Bankston, 23, who died March 15, 2010 in Beeville, TX.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Loney “L. J.” Babineaux Jr., 62, who passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 6:20 am at Lafayette General Hospital. Officiating the services will be Father Brady.

JENNINGS - Funeral services for Hattie Miller Doucet, 101, will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Miller French Baptist Church with Reverend Garland Reed officiating.
Mrs. Doucet was called to her Heavenly Father Monday afternoon at her home in Gottës Cove. Visitation will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Wednesday, March 17 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m.. The family requests visitation to be held at Miller French Baptist Church on Thursday, March 18 from 8 a.m. until the time of her services. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Simon Doucet, in the Miller French Baptist Cemetery.
