NEW IBERIA -- Services will be Tuesday for Ulysse A. Gonsoulin, Jr., life-long sugar cane grower and business owner in New Iberia. He died Saturday at age 89.

RAYNE - Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1 p.m. for Hazel Beaugh Benoit, 83 who died Thursday, February 4, 2010.
Interment was at the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Alma “Pookie” Weekley Broussard, 73, who died at 3:30 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2010 at her residence in Broussard.
Fr. Gary Schexnayder, Pastor of Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church will conduct the funeral services. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Visitation may be observed Thursday from 12 noon until 9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until service time.

CROWLEY - Funeral services for Brandon “BT” Thomas, 29, who died Monday, January 25, 2010 will be held Saturday, Januray 30, 2010 at New Vision Ministries. Pastor Al (Jeanelle) Malbrough and Bishop Joseph (Earlean) Damon will officiate the service. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday until the time of service.
