Acadia teachers honored at luncheon

Those elementary teachers honored recently at a luncheon held at Chef Roy’s Frog City Cafe in Rayne were, front row from left, Tiffani Arceneaux of Branch Elementary, Georgette Faul of Church Point Elementary, Alisa Stakes of Estherwood Elementary, Alacia Manuel of Iota Elementary, Gwen Foreman of Martin Petitjean Elementary and Melanie Viosin of Mermentau Elementary; and second row, Acadia Parish School Superintendent John Bourque, Glendale Scott of Mire Elementary, Nancy Myers of Morse Elementary, Geretta Domingue of North Crowley Elementary, Maggie Richard of Richard Elementary, Helen Harmon of Ross Elementary, Kristal Vilardo of South Crowley Elementary and Erin Bourque of South Rayne Elementary. Not present were Connie Doughty of Central Rayne Kindergarten and Robin Menard of Crowley Kindergarten.
