While narcotics agents were conducting surveillance on certain high crime areas for possible drug activity they were able to make a traffic stop after witnessing a possible drug transaction.
While investigating further, it was found that Miller made a drug transaction and was in possession of several controlled dangerous substances. More arrests are expected as this investigation continues for other persons in the vehicle with Miller.
His charges: Possession of Schedule IV (Xanax) with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Schedule II (Dolophine) WITD, Possession of Schedule II (Roxicodone) removal of Label from Prescription Bottle, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He had 54 pills with a street value of $158 and he had two glass pipes. Sheriff Mike Couvillon, Abbeville Mayor Mark Piazza, Abbeville Chief of Police Rick Coleman, Erath Mayor George Dupuis and Erath Chief Gerald Hebert wish to commend the Narcotics Task Force for a job well done.
