Pending approval of the police jury, there will be a change in personnel when the Acadia Parish Tourist Commission meets in August.
The Acadia Parish Convention and Visitors Commission will increase its membership to 12, possibly 13, thanks to legislation introduced by Rep. John Stefanski and signed into law Wednesday by Gov.
With a new executive director at the helm, the Acadia Parish Tourist Commission is making plans for the coming months.

Tourism officials from three parishes converged in Crowley Monday to discuss plans for the promotion of the Zydeco Cajun Prairie Byway. After a quick tour of downtown Crowley the group ended at Kelly’s Landing for lunch and discussion.
