MAURICE - Prior to Easter break, the Rayne High School track team participated in the North Vermilion Track Meet on Friday, March 26, in Maurice.
Placing for Rayne High were:
LACOMBE INKS WITH GENERALS - Rayne High’s Colin LaCombe inked with LSU-Alexandria this week to continue his baseball career.
In a baseball game that came down to the last available inning of play, North Vermilion held onto a one-point lead, handing Rayne High their first district loss of the 2021 season (3-1).
All good things must come to end.
Unfortunately for the Crowley Gents, that’s exactly what happened Monday in their showdown with the Lake Arthur Tigers.
Nick Swacker racked up 17 points to help lead the Notre Dame Pios to a sixth-place finish at the Doug Stewart Rebel Relays hosted by Teurlings Catholic on Monday.
