Once again, there were a number of impressive performances turned in by Acadia Parish football players during Week 8 of the regular season.
The Iota Bulldogs moved to 8-0 on the season on Friday, riding Luke Doucet’s legs (161 yards on 8 carries) and a clutch defense to a 39-6 win over the Port Barre Red Devils, who slipped to 2–6.
Notre Dame got the healing game it needed at Ville Platte Friday in a 49-0 District 6-2A win.
