The Rayne High Lady Wolves moved up to the #6 ranking among Division III schools as they claimed the 3-4A district title once again during another two wins.
NEW IBERIA – The Notre Dame Lady Pios took another step towards the district title late last week with a 3-1 victory over Divison’s IV’s No. 3 ranked Catholic High of New Iberia.
Notre Dame’s Jake Brouillette scored on runs of four and eight yards last Friday to help lead the Pios to a dominating 41-0 victory over rival Catholic High of New Iberia.
The Iota Bulldogs made huge plays in key moments to get the big Homecoming victory over Pine Prairie Friday, 41-28.
The Crowley Gents started out Thursday’s District 6-3A contest against Kaplan with a bang, scoring just two plays into the game.
