Grissom, Meche to wed Friday, Dec. 10

Announcement is being made by Mr. and Mrs. John Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Grissom and Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Meche of the approaching wedding of their children, Mia Clare Grissom of Rayne and Hunter Luke Meche of Crowley.
The couple will be married on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, during an evening Nuptial Mass at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Rayne.
The bride is the daughter of John and Mandy Miller of Rayne and Stephen and Tricia Grissom of Lafayette. Her grandparents are Ronald Badeaux and the late Cynthia Badeaux of Lafayette, Homer and Lorraine Hyatt of Starks and Kenneth and Debbie Grissom of Lafayette.
Mia is a 2015 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and a 2016 graduate of the Cosmetology Training Center as a cosmetologist and lash artist. She is presently employed by Hello Beautiful in Rayne.
The groom is the son of Gregory and Mona Meche of Crowley. His grandparents are Jimmy and Betty Melancon of Crowley and the late Earl and Juanita Meche.
Hunter is a 2016 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and a 2021 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Geology. He is currently self-employed.
Following their wedding, the couple plans to reside in Rayne.
