Toy D’Lane Carmouche and Johnell Celestine
Couple announce June 2 wedding
Toy D’Lane Carmouche of Lafayette and Johnell Celestine of Opelousas have announced their engagement and commitment to be wed on Saturday, June 2, at the International Rice Festival Building in a 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Myrtle R. Cain of Crowley and the late Joseph Alton Carmouche. Her grandparents are Beatrice Bashay Cain and the late Moses Cain Jr. and the late Theresa and Alton Carmouche.
Toy graduated from Crowley High School in 2006 and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in general studies with applied sciences. She is currently employed as a supervising agent at Liberty National Life Insurance Co.
The prospective groom is the son of John Celestine of Opelousas and the late Rosella Celestine. His grandparents are the late Albert and Selena Johnson and the late Latyon and Lovenia Celestine.
Johnell is a 1998 graduate of Northwest High School in St. Landry Parish and obtained a degree in general studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2003. He is employed by the Evangeline Parish School Board.
Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Opelousas.
