By official proclamation, Mayor Tim Monceaux has designated the week of Sept. 30 through Oct. 5 as Notre Dame High School Homecoming Week in the city of Crowley.
A man accused of shooting a woman in Texas has been arrested in Crowley.
Just over 5 percent of the registered voters in Acadia Parish have already taken advantage of early voting, according to numbers released by the registrar of voters office.
