Veterans Day programs set in Rayne

Veterans of all wars are invited to a number of programs to be held in their honor on Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, 2016.
School programs include:
South Rayne Elementary - 9 a.m. in school gym;
Rayne Catholic Elementary - 8:15 a.m. school Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church;
Armstrong Middle School - 2 p.m. in school gym;
Rayne High School - 9 a.m. in north gym;
Mire Elementary - 9 a.m. in school gym;
Branch Elementary - 8 a.m. in school gym.
No program will be held at Notre Dame High School but donations will be accepted for donation to War Veterans Home in Jennings.
St. Leo Catholic Church in Roberts Cove will welcome veterans on Sunday, Nov. 13, during its 9 am. Mass.
On Saturday, Nov. 5, veterans were invited to attend the 4 p.m. Mass at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Mire, followed by a reception in the church hall.
