Junior royalty of the 85th International Rice Festival was crowned during ceremonies Friday morning on the Supreme Rice Sound Stage. The 2022 Junior King is Jax Michael Cormier of Estherwood Elementary School, son of Marty and Annie Cormier. The new Junior Queen is Adilynn Dane Simar of St. Francis Elementary School, daughter of Michael and Lindsey Simar.
