Louisiana State Representative John Stefanski, standing fourth from right, donated $140,000 to the Acadia Parish Police Jury to be disbursed to the parish’s 14 fire protection entities to purchase fire protection equipment for use by firefighters. The goal of the donation, which was part of supplemental funds, is to provide more up-to-date equipment for use by front-line firefighters.
