Judges and retired judges of the 15th Judicial District sat “en banc” for the official Court Opening Ceremonies held Friday afternoon in the main courtroom of the Vermilion Parish Courthouse in Abbeville. The ceremonies, not held last year due to COVID, recognized judges who had retired during 2020 and 2021 as well as new attorneys admitted to the bar during that time period.

The Crowley Senior Class of 1956 celebrated their 65th reunion on Saturday, April 30, with a luncheon at the Rice Palace in Crowley. The class celebrates every five years, except for this time — it was a year later because of the pandemic. Enjoying the luncheon were, seated from left F.G.
