Paula V. Broussard
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 12 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley for Paula V. Broussard, 100, who passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 6:30 a.m. at Southwind Nursing and Rehab Center in Crowley.
Fr. Matthew Higginbotham, Pastor of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington, LA. will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Mausoleum in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Monday at 8 a.m. until time of services.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna B. Mouton, Becky B. Trahan, and Susan and husband, Willie Hayes all of Crowley; one daughter-in-law, Brenda N. Broussard of Louisville, Ky; nine grandchildren, Charmaine and husband, Kevin Leger, Shane and wife, Suzanne Mouton, Stephanie and husband, Robert Dartez, Paula and husband, Tim Conner, Heather Hayes, Casey and wife, Nina Hayes, Betsy Curtis, Crystal Broussard and husband, Johnny Myers, Louisa and husband, Darryl Dunford; twenty four great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren, and seven step great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Broussard was preceded in death by her husband of fifty six years, Joseph O. Broussard; one son, Carl S. Broussard; her parents, Elie and Louisa Bertrand Vincent; two grandsons, Jeremy S. Hayes and Jared A. Trahan; one granddaughter, Patricia “Patty” S. Broussard; one great-grandson, Steven L. Dunford; one great-granddaughter, Kylie E. Conner; one great-great-grandson, Cole A. Conner; two sons-in-laws, Gerald Mouton and Hillyan “Shorty” Trahan; eight sisters and one brother.
