Joseph Clyde “Blackie” Melancon was born to Leoncia and Artilus Melancon on Nov. 19, 1924, on their subsistence farm in Bosco.
Joseph graduated from Rayne High School in 1942.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, at Holy Temple Church, 824 W. 14th St., Crowley, for Mrs. Anna Mae Minix-Hayes, 74, who passed away on Tuesday, Dec.
Donald was born in Opelousas on Jan. 11, 1932, to Percy LeDoux and Blanc Hidalgo LeDoux. He was called from this earthly life by his Heavenly Father on Dec. 25, 2018.
