CHS Ladies split pair in Welsh tournament
WELSH – The Crowley Ladies went 1-1 in the Welsh tournament over the weekend, dropping their opening game to the Lady Hounds, 9-6, before claiming a 4-3 victory over East Beauregard in the finale.<

LAFAYETTE – Wyatt Daigle and Damarion Guy each claimed individual state titles Saturday to help lead the Church Point Bears to the Division III state powerlifting championship at the Cajundome.

GLENMORA – Madelynn Hebert allowed just two hits and struck out four in five innings Thursday to help lead Northside Christian’s Lady Warriors to an 11-0 victory over Plainview.
