BASILE - On a hot afternoon in game that saw multiple players from both teams leave due to cramping issues, the Iota High Bulldogs dominated the Basile Bearcats by a score of 40-7.
IOWA - Heading into Saturday’s season opener at Iowa, Crowley coach Jeptha Wall had his concerns.
And rightfully so.
CROWLEY – Hurricane Harvey has come and gone and in its wake, it has left many obstacles in regards to the opening weekend of the prep football season.
IOTA - When interviewed on Wednesday, Iota Coach Josh Andrus had yet to determine when his game against the Basile Bobcats would be played.
“He and I will figure it out,” said Andrus.
CROWLEY – For at least three Acadia Parish Schools, Friday nights under the lights will have to wait at least one more week.
