Though the festival itself is still more than a month away, the official “kick-off” to the 84th International Rice Festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 11.
According to International Rice Festival Coordinator Shanna Monk, the 84th IRF, set for Oct. 14-17, is a “go.”
With 21 bands performing on two soundstages, the 84th International Rice Festival is promising three days of the best musical entertainment in the area.
Ceremonies were held Sunday unveiling the official poster and announcing this year’s theme as plans for the 84th International Rice Festival continue.
The 84th International Rice Festival has chosen Adrianne Vidrine as the 2021 Honoree.
