CROWLEY - Last weekend the International Rice Festival hosted its annual Honoree Social and Queen’s Ball at the International Rice Festival Building in Crowley.
Although the weather called for a change of venue from the Supreme Rice Soundstage to the Rice Theatre, there was a large crowd on hand for the International Rice Festival Queen’s Pageant.
Crowned as the 81st International Rice Festival Junior King and Queen are second grader Daxton Glen Broussard, son of Melanie and Shawn Broussard, of St.
The Rayne High class of 1968 celebrated their “golden” anniversary by attending their 50-year class reunion on Saturday, Sept. 22, at Union Hall in Rayne.
