Victory parade to honor Tigers

The entire LSU football team will be honored with a parade this Saturday in Baton Rouge.
The victory parade, scheduled for Saturday Jan. 18, on LSU’s campus, was announced following LSU’s 42 - 25 win over Clemson on Monday.
According to LSU, the parade will run through campus beginning at 11 a.m. at LSU’s school of music.
The parade will travel through LSU’s campus and end up at the west side of Tiger Stadium via Victory Hill. The National Championship Celebration will begin at noon outside the west side of Tiger Stadium.
Baton Rouge Mayor Sharon Weston Broome congratulated the team in a video on Facebook promising to present them a key to the city. Broome attended the game on Monday to cheer on the team.
