Kiwanis donates to Crowley Recreation Dept.

Peter Kirsch, Crowley Recreation Department director, was guest speaker at the Thursday meeting of the Kiwanis Club to discuss ongoing upgrades at Miller Stadium, including the purchase and installation of new seating. During the meeting, Kiwanians donated $5,000 to the Recreation Department to be used toward the purchase of new bleachers at the Glady Trahan Tennis Center to replace bleachers that had been damaged by weather. Taking part in the check presentation were, from left, Kiwanis President Kelly Gibson, Kirsch and Kiwanis Secretary Sam Sonnier.
