No victim located in reported train accident

Around midnight Saturday, numerous concerned citizens contacted The Post-Signal about a train stopped on the tracks with a heavy police presence.
The newspaper reached out to Crowley Police Department and Chief Jimmy Broussard, explained that the train conductor had contacted the police department over concerns that the train had possibly hit a pedestrian on the tracks.
However, after much investigation and a thorough search of the area, no victim was located and the train continued on its journey.
