A long-time former member and past president of the Acadia Parish Police Jury died in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday in rural Acadia Parish.
The Acadia Parish Police Jury will be asking voters in the unincorporated areas of the parish to renew a 1-cent sales tax when they go to the polls on March 29.
“Really bad,” “overgrown,” “deplorable.” Those are some of the adjectives Donnie Brackins uses to describe conditions at the West Crowley Cemetery.
Prompted by the New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans, the City of Crowley will further limit automobile access to North Parkerson Avenue during events held there.
