The Acadia Parish Police Jury has begun the search for a new secretary-treasurer, but is also taking steps to expand the duties of this top-level administration position.
OPELOUSAS – The Crowley Ladies used a 10-4 run in the third quarter to pull away and then they held on in the fourth for a 34-23 victory over Opelousas Catholic Friday.

Mayor Chad Monceaux announced Friday that the regular meeting of the Crowley City Council, scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 21, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 5 p.m.
