CROWLEY - The Acadia Parish Police Jury unanimously approved bids for the Ohlenforst Road Bridge repair/replacement and improvements to Roy Leblanc Road during a special meeting Tuesday morning.

Personnel from the ASSIST Agency pack office equipment and supplies into the back of a U-Haul as the agency moves from it’s current location in the Enterprise Center to the 7th District Pavilion next to St. Theresa’s Church in the 400 block of West Third Street. Mayor Chad Monceaux has said that LA Workforce and Smile Community Action Agency, the other two entities currently renting space in the Enterprise Center, have been looking at other possible sites as the city hopes to close and, eventually, demolish the Enterprise Center building.
